Neurologist

As a neurologist, Dr. Bales is highly trained to treat disorders of the nervous system, which include diseases of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. Neurologists may serve as consultants to other physicians and may provide long-term care to patients with chronic neurological disorders.

Brian H. Moore, M.D.
Neurologist

Although originally from Michigan, Dr. Moore considers himself a Hoosier and is an avid Hoosier basketball fan. Dr. Moore moved to Indiana in 1991 prior to his junior year of high school.

Dr. Moore received his bachelor's degree in biology from Indiana University (Bloomington) in 1997. Afterwards, Dr. Moore received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2001. In 2005, he completed his neurology residency at University of Utah Hospitals in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).

Brian H. Moore, M.D., joined Neurology Specialists in July 2005. In his spare time, Dr. Moore enjoys sports, traveling and spending time with his wife and children.

Vanessa Beard, PA-C
Physician Assistant

Vanessa Beard, PA-C, joined our practice in August 2004. A native of Indiana, she received her Physician Assistant, Bachelor of Science degree from Butler University in 2004, and also her Bachelor of Science, Psychology, from Indiana University in 1995.

Vanessa is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Indiana Academy of Physician Assistants.

In her spare time Vanessa enjoys gardening, drawing and spending time with her two children.
